Autumn Reeser and Kavan Smith Star
STUDIO CITY, CA – January 22, 2019 – A driven young executive discovers the recipe for love with a handsome chef, in “Love on the Menu,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, February 23 (8 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Channel. Autumn Reeser (“The Arrangement,” “The O.C.”) and Kavan Smith (“When Calls the Heart,” “Stargate: Atlantis”) star. The screenplay for “Love on the Menu” was written by Kavan Smith, well known to Hallmark Channel viewers from his series regular role as Leland Coulter in “When Calls the Heart.” Corporate executive Maggie Young (Reeser) meets the man of her dreams in chef Hank Daniels (Smith), when she makes a business deal with him to develop a line of gourmet frozen meals for her company. However, she is soon forced to choose between the chef and her career when her ruthless boss puts the kibosh on the deal earlier than expected and the chef’s restaurant faces closure, despite Maggie’s hard work to help revive it. “Love on the Menu” is a Crown Media production.
