JEN LILLEY, KEVIN McGARRY AND MARY-MARGARET HUMES STAR IN ‘WINTER LOVE STORY’ A NEW, ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING JANUARY 19, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Part of the Network’s Popular, Annual “Winterfest” Programming Event

STUDIO CITY, CA – DATE – Jen Lilley (“The Originals,” “Summerland”), Kevin McGarry (“Paradise Falls”) and Mary-Margaret Humes (“Dawson’s Creek”) star in “Winter Love Story,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, January 19 (8 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Channel, airing as part of the network’s annual “Winterfest” programming event.  The old adage “you can’t judge a book by its cover” takes on a whole new meaning for first-time author Cassie Winslett (Lilley) when she is paired with successful author Elliot Somersby (McGarry) for a book tour to promote her breakup memoir and his fantasy dragon saga.  Doubtful of her own talent and afraid of comparisons to her mother (Humes), an awardwinning novelist, Cassie initially finds Elliot to be far too self-confident and somewhat full of himself when they first meet, but as she gets to know the kind and caring man he really is, she finds herself falling in love for the first time since the painful breakup that inspired her book. Brad Krevoy, Eric Jarboe, Amanda Atkins Phillips, Amy Krell, Susie Belzberg, Jimmy Townsend and T.W. Peacocke serve as executive producers on “Winter Love Story.”  David Anselmo is producer.  T.W. Peacocke directed from a script by McKenzie Austin.
