WHAT:
RYAN HANSEN SOLVES CRIMES ON TELEVISION*, a meta comedy skewering Hollywood and police procedurals, returns for Season 2 on January 30, 2019 on YouTube Premium. To prepare fans for the show's return, YouTube is releasing all 8 episodes of season 1 for free starting today through February 13, 2019.
The show stars Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars, Party Down), as a ridiculous version of himself, who joins an LAPD task force partnering actors with homicide detectives so they can use their "actor skills" to help solve murders. Season 1 features Ryan and Emmy-winning Samira Wiley (The Handmaid's Tale, Orange is the New Black) as his no-nonsense partner Detective Mathers, along with a who's who of broadcast and cable television stars playing bizarro versions of themselves including, but not limited to, Joel McHale, Jon Cryer, Donald Faison, Eric Christian Olsen and Kristen Bell. Season 2 stars Ryan Hansen and Wood Harris (The Wire).
