Game of Thrones - 2 Seasons, 1 Package: DVDs and Blu-rays for 'The Complete 3rd and 4th Seasons' Available from HBO on March 14th, according to Canadian sources

Back in November 2014, HBO released Game of Thrones - The Complete 1st and 2nd Seasons on DVD and Blu-ray, bringing together the first twenty episodes of the epic television adaption of George R.R. Martin's series of books, A Song of Ice and Fire. It was a great way for interested folks to get both seasons at a good price. Now, after a wait of over two years, HBO is continuing that format of combining seasons with a just-announced March 14th release of Game of Thrones - The Complete 3rd and 4th Seasons. The information comes to us from Canadian sources, so we're not certain at this time that this will also be available State-side...but more than likely it will be. At the beginning of the third season, Daenerys Targaryen arrived in Slaver's Bay, where she met The Unsullied. Bran Stark was joined by Jojen and Meera Howland, while Jaime Lannister got a new traveling companion...but lost something important along the way. Theon Greyjoy also suffered, at the hands of an unknown captor. Jon Snow met the King Beyond the Wall, and got acquainted with the Wildlings, while the White Walkers continued to advance south. Another wildling, Gilly, decided to name her son after Samwell Tarley. Ser Davos disagreed with King Stannis, and with the plans of The Red Woman. Gendry got the "royal" treatment, and soon after that Arya Stark begun traveling with The Hound. There were weddings both red and purple, and new rulers took control on different continents. Petyr Baelish looked for a bride who would fall for him. Oberyn Martell looked for revenge against The Mountain. Tyrion Lannister went on trial, and "confessed," but had to guess at whose side Varys was really on. There were epic battles at Castle Black. In the end, the fourth season culminated with major confrontations, shocking deaths, and a few significant characters departing from the Seven Kingdoms...at least for the time being.
