Trio Will Provide On-Air Hosting Duties As Part Of Overall Network Deal With Their First Appearance On The “VMAs” Red Carpet

New York, NY – August 23, 2017 – MTV today announced that social media superstars Eva Gutowski, Gabbie Hanna and Gigi Gorgeous will serve as social media correspondents for the highly anticipated return of “TRL,” beginning Monday, October 2nd.  As part of an overall deal with MTV, Gutowski, Hanna and Gorgeous will make appearances on “TRL” and other projects for the network, including this Sunday’s “VMA’s,” where they will be on site to capture the most talked about moments from the event.

The three personalities were the first to reveal the “TRL” franchise’s brand new logo with posts across their social media channels and join previously announced hosts Amy Pham, D.C. Young Fly, Erik Zachary, Lawrence Jackson and Tamara Dhia, and correspondent Liza Koshy.
The daily live show will air from the network’s iconic Times Square studio and become the prime destination for youth culture and a meeting point for millions of fans. The show will integrate linear, social and digital content under the “TRL” brand and bring teen passion points to life, while continuing to incorporate audience requests. The digital extensions will feature platform-specific, premium content across YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Musical.ly.

Eva Gutowski

Gabbie Hanna


Gabbie Hanna rose to prominence with a comedic and bare-boned presence on Vine, which she managed to translate into over 4.5M YouTube subscribers. She has been nominated for 2 Teen Choice Awards and has developed a fan base of almost 20M followers across all platforms. She’s headlined Fullscreen’s “Drop The Mic” tour and can be seen starring in YouTubeRed’s original series ESCAPE THE NIGHT. Her first book, titled Adultolescence, will be released in September by Atria/Keywords. She can now be seen regularly performing at The Laugh Factory in LA.  Gabbie is represented by CAA and Vario studios.
