"As one of the few female CEOs in the entertainment industry and a former college athlete myself, I'm enormously proud that Lifetime broadcasts the NWSL games and showcases the power of these incredible athletes," said Nancy Dubuc, President and Chief Executive Officer of A+E Networks. "To have Julia, Ellen, Reese, Zendaya, James and David join together to bring more visibility to the sport and these inspiring players is truly remarkable."

This October in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lifetime also launches its 23rd annual Stop Breast Cancer For Life campaign dedicated to fueling breast cancer awareness and research. Partnering with the NWSL and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a powerful and poignant series of PSAs featuring Orlando Pride goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris along with her team will be available to network affiliates to run locally nationwide. Harris was deeply impacted by her grandmother's fight with breast cancer and is passionate about bringing awareness to the disease. Click here to view and share PSA.

To further encourage the love of the game, Lifetime and the U.S. Soccer Foundation have joined forces to travel around the country for the Pass the Ball Fan Fest, providing high-impact experiences at local youth tournaments. The tour will stop in St. Louis where former NWSL and U.S. Women's National Team player, Lori Lindsey, will make an appearance. Since her retirement, Lori has been dedicated to growing the game and ensuring that soccer promotes a culture of inclusion. The Fan Fest will also visit Northern Virginia, culminating in Orlando for the Championship Game. Fan Fest activities include professional soccer freestyle performances; soccer juggling lessons; player meet-and-greets; a soccer-themed ball pit; giveaways and prizes; unique photo ops, and more. Lifetime is also working hand-in-hand with the U.S. Soccer Foundation's Safe Places to Play program, partnering to build and fund mini-pitches (small, customized soccer areas with a quality playing surface), which help to transform underserved communities and create safe locations for youth to enjoy the beautiful game. The Pass the Ball Fan Fest will make its final stop at a groundbreaking mini-pitch ceremony, dedicated by Lifetime as part of the Safe Places to Play initiative, in Orlando the weekend of the Championship.
