Based on the groundbreaking novel by H.G. After releasing the first season in 2005 and the second (and final) season in 2010, CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution has announced that on February 6th they will bring both battles together into a single package as War of the Worlds - The Complete Series. This entertaining 1988 series has a story that fits seamlessly onto the end of the legendary 1953 theatrical film produced by George Pal. Jared Martin (Dallas) led the cast in both seasons, and Adrian Paul (Highlander: The Series) was a major presence in the second season. On-disc content of this new release is expected to be identical to the DVDs previously put out by CBS/Paramount. Cost is $27.99 SRP, and here's a look at the package:
