UNSUNG
From the hard streets of Queens, hip hop group Lost Boyz used their experiences to record back-to-back gold albums. TV One's signature, award-winning music biography series "Unsung" sits down with remaining group members as well as the group's loved ones in its season finale on Sunday, April 22 at 9/8C to uncover the Lost Boyz' stranger than fiction story.

Making ends meet by hustling and selling drugs, the four members of Lost Boyz - Mr. Cheeks, Freaky Tah, Pretty Lou, and DJ Spigg Nice - found music to be their refuge and strength. The group competed in rap battles and struggled for almost a decade until they became the first hip hop artists to sign with Uptown/Universal. With this label, they released hit singles "Renee" and "Music Makes me High," that were featured on their gold albums. Tragedy struck, however, when Freaky Tah was shot to death and DJ Spigg got caught up in a robbery spree that led to his imprisonment for decades. The three surviving members, friends, and family came together to tell their story to "Unsung."

Through first-hand accounts, interviews with family and friends, and archival footage, each episode of TV One's signature series "Unsung" sheds much-deserved light on some of the most influential and talented R&B, soul, funk, hip hop, disco, and gospel artists of the last 30 years. In its second week of premiere, "Unsung" delivered a combined reach of 1.4 million total unique viewers with "Uncensored." Season 12 of TV One's critically acclaimed and award-winning "Unsung" uncovered the personal triumphs and struggles of these musical legends.

UNCENSORED

Brought up in the hood of Long Beach, California, Snoop Dogg has successfully ventured into mainstream pop music and television. In its first season, "Uncensored" dives deep into the lives of your favorite personalities as they reveal secrets to their success, obstacles they've faced, and how they manage this new world of social media that has helped but sometimes haunted their careers.
