MARSHMELLO AND DISNEY’S ‘DUCKTALES’ SET TO DEBUT SPECIAL COLLABORATION OF ‘FLY’ MUSIC VIDEO SATURDAY, JUNE 23,
ON DISNEY CHANNEL AND DISNEYNOW
Marshmello and Disney have collaborated on a special “DuckTales”-inspired music video of the music producer/DJ’s hit single “Fly,” which will debut on SATURDAY, JUNE 23, during Disney·Pixar’s “The Incredibles” (6:00-8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT) and leading into the “2018 Radio Disney Music Awards” (RDMA) (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel. The music video will also be available in the DisneyNOW app. A mix of animation and live-action, the music video launches Scrooge, his nephew Donald, great-nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie and their friend Webby into a musical outer space adventure. When their spaceship unexpectedly crashes, they encounter an alien DJ on a remote Marshmello planet.
‪Marshmello will also perform at the 2018 RDMA and is a top nominee with four nominations. His music video “Fly” was released in March and has nearly 48.5 million views on his official YouTube channel. Since his arrival on the music scene in 2015, Marshmello’s YouTube channel has amassed over 2.6 billion views with more than 15 million monthly subscribers.  On June 22, the world-renowned DJ/producer will release his highly anticipated sophomore album “JoytimeII,” a follow-up to 2016’s “Joytime,” which landed him in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums, with the track “Alone” off the album garnering over 154+ million Spotify plays and over 1 billion video views on YouTube, making it certified platinum in only one year.
Last year’s worth of chart topping singles – featuring collaborations with Selena Gomez, Khalid, Migos, Logic and more – have garnered more than 2 billion streams across Spotify alone and with more than 40 million monthly listeners, he is Spotify’s #4 Most-Streamed Artist in the World.
Since its debut on Disney Channel, Disney’s Emmy® Award-nominated “DuckTales” ranks as the #1 TV program in its Friday 8 p.m. timeslot across all key demos, including Kids 6-11 (1.4 rating/331,000) and Kids 6-14 (1.1 rating/407,000). The animated comedy-adventure series chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his mischief-making triplet grandnephews – Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack; no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley; and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet’s newfound fierce friend. “DuckTales” airs daily on Disney Channel.
