Arlington,
VA – May 24, 2018 – Today, PBS Distribution announced the upcoming release of the new
DVD, “WILD KRATTS: ADVENTURES ON THE AFRICAN SAVANNAH,” featuring two
episodes from one of the top- rated kids series on PBS KIDS, WILD KRATTS.
Get ready to go on an adventure with Martin and Chris Kratt as they travel all
the way to the African Savannah. Kids will love learning about all of the
different creatures that the Kratt Brothers encounter while roaming the grasslands,
including a rhino and an elephant!
“WILD
KRATTS: ADVENTURES ON THE AFRICAN SAVANNAH” ($6.99 SRP) will be
available on July 10, 2018 and has a
run time of approximately 45 minutes.
Episodes of WILD KRATTS are also available for digital download.
Episodes on this DVD include:
“The Food Chain Game”
Aviva
wants to build a food web for the African Savannah, so she devises a game and
Chris and Martin accept the challenge! They will each start as a blade of grass
and climb to the top of the food chain in a game of “Creature Power Suit
Creature Tag.”
“Creature Power Challenge”
After
getting caught in the middle of a tussle between a grumpy rhino and an outraged
elephant, Martin and Chris decide to have a contest to decide what’s stronger –
elephant or rhino powers.
WILD KRATTS transforms the
Kratt Brothers, creators of the award-winning “Kratts’ Creatures” and
Emmy-winning “Zoboomafoo,” into animated versions of themselves, allowing the
real-life zoologists to visit wild animals in their little-seen habitats and
showcase key science concepts along the way. From elephants using physics to
suck gallons of water with their trunks to a fleet of peregrine falcons that
harness the force of gravity to speed through the air, each episode of WILD
KRATTS presents age-appropriate science inspired by the natural abilities of
the animals that the Kratt Brothers – and young viewers – meet. WILD KRATTS
airs daily on PBS KIDS (check local listings).
