Returns June 5 as a Preshow to Livestream on Facebook Live

New York, NY – June 4, 2018 – TV Land's hit series "Younger" premieres its fifth season on Tuesday, June 5th at 10pm ET, and fan demand has the network expanding beyond the screen. Designed to enhance the "Younger" experience among the passionate fan community, TV Land has launched a new weekly podcast, "Younger Uncovered" and will bring back its Facebook Live half-hour weekly series, "Getting Younger," both hosted by radio host, social influencer, and "Younger" superfan Taylor Strecker. Known for its romantic comedy and dynamic portrayal of the publishing industry, "Younger" also inspired a new book, Marriage Vacation from Simon & Schuster, out June 5. These additional outlets will reach the fan community where they live, providing juicy details and insight to bring more to their interactions with the show and each other.

Now available on Apple Podcasts, the "Younger Uncovered" podcast welcomes the stars of the show as well as "Younger" insiders for a passionate discussion about standout moments from the series and to share their own personal stories and insights. "Younger Uncovered" kicks off with four recap podcasts covering Seasons 1-4 with Darren Star (Creator & Executive Producer), Dottie Zicklin and Eric Zicklin (Executive Producers & Writers), Alison Brown (Co-Executive Producer & Writer) and Grant Sloss (Co-Producer & Writer) and Ashley Skidmore (Co-Producer & Writer) and Joe Murphy (Writer). And then, starting June 6, "Younger Uncovered" will take a weekly deep-dive into the "Youngerverse," covering not only what happens on the show, but the "I've been there" moments, the flawed characters, the covetable fashion and all the things that make the show so relatable. Strecker and her guests will recap episodes, play fun quizzes and trivia games about the show itself or related subjects, discuss fan theories, unpack character relationship dynamics, and share their own true stories about times they experienced something similar to a moment on the show.

Plus, "Getting Younger" will return for a second season on June 5, but this time as a preshow available online prior to the on-air premiere of "Younger." The preshow will go live at 9:30pm ET/6:30pm PT on Facebook @YoungerTV (and simulcasting on Instagram @YoungerTV with behind-the-scenes content). New episodes of "Getting Younger" will post live before every episode for the run of the season. The June 5 episode will include all eight cast members: Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard and Charles Michael Davis. Hosted by Taylor Strecker, "Getting Younger" will continue the enthusiastic fan conversation that occurs on social media every week. Shot in Manhattan, the shows will consist of guest interviews and discussion about the proceeding episode. Viewers will have the ability to ask the cast questions and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes for certain episodes to come to life.

The previously-announced novel MARRIAGE VACATION (Simon & Schuster; 6/5/18; $26.00) is a real-life version of the fictional novel featured in "Younger" last season, giving fans another way to get a fresh perspective on the series. In the fourth season of "Younger," Empirical Press announced the publication of Marriage Vacation, and Pauline Turner Brooks's debut novel quickly became the hottest read in town. Now, this story of a woman who impulsively leaves her book publisher husband and two young daughters in order to find herself, will be available to readers everywhere, published by Simon & Schuster.

The most recent season of "Younger" was the highest-rated and most-watched season in series history, and the series ranked as the #1 original ad-supported cable sitcom with women 18-49 and women 25-54. Created by "Sex and the City" Darren Star, "Younger" stars two-time Tony® winner Sutton Foster with Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard and Charles Michael Davis. The show follows Liza, a woman who lies about her age in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing. As Liza's personal and professional lives have become irreversibly intertwined, keeping her secret becomes increasingly difficult. This results in her ultimately revealing the truth to Kelsey, her friend and partner at work. Still, Liza must keep up appearances, as she is torn between her attraction to her boss and the fact that their professional relationship was built on a lie.

"Younger," which films at the legendary Silvercup Studios in New York, is created, executive produced and written by Darren Star, with Tony Hernandez of JAX Media executive producing for TV Land. Dottie Zicklin and Eric Zicklin also serve as executive producers and writers on the series.
