STUDIO CITY, CA –October 4, 2018– Kelly Rutherford (“Gossip Girl,” “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists”) and Cameron Mathison (“A Summer to Remember,” “Very, Very Valentine”) star in Hallmark Channel’s “Love, Of Course,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, October 20, (9 p.m. ET/PT) as part of the network’s “Fall Harvest” programming event.  Starring alongside Rutherford and Mathison are Makenzie Vega (“13 Reasons Why,” “The Good Wife”) and three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas (“The Gabby Douglas Story”).  After her husband’s death six years ago, Amy (Rutherford) has had to raise her daughter Cara (Vega) alone.  Now, after she drives Cara from Los Angeles to college in Oregon, Amy will return to an empty nest and the next chapter of her life, if only she knew what that was.  But while on campus, Amy’s friend, who is also the Director of Administration, offers her a six-week job planning the school’s Harvest Festival with ruggedly handsome environmental sciences professor Noah Ferris (Mathison).  It seems the event has been losing money for the past few years because Noah has been putting the emphasis on “Harvest” and not on “Festival,” causing attendance and sponsorship to wane.  While Amy shows Noah how to infuse fun into the festival with things like pumpkin bowling, Noah teaches Amy the art of properly picking apples, and slowly sparks between the two begin to fly.  When Amy is offered a permanent position on campus, it could be perfect timing for these new lovebirds to truly develop a lasting relationship.  But Noah, who has a habit of switching schools, reveals he’s been offered a professorship in Australia.  Even though someone has offered to buy Amy’s house in Los Angeles, she’s wondering if maybe the next chapter of her life isn’t in Oregon with Noah as she had hoped.
