For the week ending Nov. 9, LET’S MAKE A DEAL (one) and THE PRICE IS RIGHT (one and two) posted nearly four-month ratings highs, including:
LET’S MAKE A DEAL (one) attracted 2.82 million viewers, THE PRICE IS
RIGHT (one) attracted an average of 4.39 million viewers, and THE PRICE
IS RIGHT (two) scored an average of 5.05 million viewers – all three
shows’ largest audience since the week ending July 27. Additionally,
LET’S MAKE A DEAL (two) posted its largest audience (3.21 million) since
the week ending Sept. 21.

LAST WEEK “THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” BEAT “THE TONIGHT SHOW” FOR FIRST TIME (LIVE + SAME DAY) IN KEY ADULTS 18-49 DEMO
“THE LATE SHOW” ALSO WON LAST WEEK IN L+3
BY ALMOST 1.4 MILLION VIEWERS
Last week THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT won the live plus same day
adults 18-49 demo race for the first time (0.5 versus 0.4), and
overtook “The Tonight Show” season-to-date in viewers in the demo. Using
a rolling live plus 3-day to live plus 7-day season average of actual
adult 18-49 viewers, THE LATE SHOW leads “Tonight” 703,000 viewers in

Additionally, THE LATE SHOW delivered 3.74 million viewers and 0.6 in
adults 18-49 for the week ending Nov. 9, according to Nielsen live plus
3-day ratings. THE LATE SHOW added +620,000 viewers (from 3.12m) and
+0.1 in adults 18-49 (from 0.5) in live plus three-day lift from live
plus same day ratings. Last week, THE LATE SHOW posted season-best live
plus 3-day adults 18-49 ratings and has delivered more than 3.5 million
viewers with 3-day lift every first-run week this season.
With 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW improved its advantage over “Tonight” in
viewers to +1.34 million (vs. 2.40m) after leading by +890,000 with
same day viewers (vs. 2.23m). THE LATE SHOW also maintained its +0.1
lead over “Tonight” in adults 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.5). With 3-day ratings,
THE LATE SHOW also beat a first-run week of “The Tonight Show” for the
first time this season in adults 18-49 – the programs tied every other
week this season in both measures. First-run weeks of THE LATE SHOW beat
“Tonight” every week this season by more than +1 million viewers with
3-day viewing.

“THE LATE SHOW” LIVE ELECTION NIGHT BROADCAST
POSTS LARGEST TUESDAY AUDIENCE SINCE JUNE AND BEST TUESDAY ADULTS 18-49
DELIVERY IN 18 MONTHS ACCORDING TO UPDATED, TIME-ZONE-ADJUSTED FAST

Last night, the live THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT focused on
election results and delivered 3.38 million viewers with a 0.6 in A18-49
according to Nielsen Time Zone Adjusted Fast Affiliate Ratings for
Tuesday, Nov. 6. This marks THE LATE SHOW’s largest Tuesday audience
since June 5 and best Tuesday A18-49 delivery in over 18 months (since
May 23, 2017).
THE LATE SHOW also posted its largest audience on any night since Oct. 4 and a season-best A18-49 performance.

took on all comers and retook the viewer crown for week six of the
2018-2019 television season, while remaining the most-watched network
for the season-to-date. THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS and YOUNG SHELDON were
once again the top three most-watched scripted series, while FBI was
the most-watched new drama according to Nielsen live plus same day
ratings for the week ending Nov. 4.
For week six of the new season, CBS had an average of 8.02 million
viewers, beating second place NBC (7.83m) followed by FOX (5.51m) and
ABC (4.27m). Season-to-date, CBS is first with 9.13 million viewers, and
NBC is second (8.89m), followed by FOX (7.63m) and ABC (5.77m).
CBS had the top four scripted programs in viewers for the week: THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS, YOUNG SHELDON and FBI.
On Monday, at 10:00 PM, BULL was first in viewers (7.23m), and posted
the show’s largest audience since its Sept. 24 season premiere. Compared
to last week, BULL added +470,000 viewers (from 6.76m, +7%).
On Tuesday, CBS dramas drove the network to a first-place finish in
viewers (9.76m). CBS posted the Network’s best Tuesday viewer delivery
since Oct. 9. NCIS was first in viewers (12.32m) and added +1.06m
viewers from last week (from 11.26m, +9%). NCIS was the night’s #1
program in viewers. FBI was first in viewers (9.41m) as well, also
adding +590,000 viewers from last week (from 8.82m, +7%). FBI was the
night’s #1 new program with its largest audience since its Sept. 25
series premiere. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was also first in viewers, adding
+440,000 (7.56m from 7.12m, +6%).
On Thursday, CBS was second in viewers (8.02m) behind NFL football, but
THE BIG BANG THEORY was the most-watched program on any network
(12.64m). YOUNG SHELDON was also first in its time period in viewers
(11.07m). Compared to last week, YOUNG SHELDON added +110,000 viewers
(from 10.96m, +1%) and was the night’s #2 program in viewers. MOM at
9:00 PM stayed solid and was second in viewers (7.90m) behind football,
as was MURPHY BROWN (5.94m viewers) and S.W.A.T. (5.22m).
On Friday, CBS was again the most-watched network (7.56m) for the fifth
Friday (out of six) this season. The Network also posted a season-best
Friday viewer delivery. MACGYVER was first in viewers (6.06m) and posted
its second largest audience of the season. Compared to last week,
MACGYVER added +160,000 viewers (from 5.90m, +3%). HAWAII FIVE-0 was
also first in viewers (7.88m), adults 25-54 (1.4/05) and adults 18-49
(0.9/04) while posting its largest audience since April 6 and best
adults 18-49 rating since the Sept. 28 season premiere. Compared to last
week, HAWAII FIVE-0 was up +29% in adults 18-49 (from 0.7/03) and added
+910,000 viewers (from 6.97m, +13%). HAWAII FIVE-0 was the night’s #2
program in viewers, behind BLUE BLOODS, which was tops in viewers
(8.73m) and adults 18-49 (0.8/04). BLUE BLOODS also posted its largest
audience since its Sept. 28 premiere. Compared to last week, BLUE BLOODS
was up +14% in adults 18-49 (from 0.7/03) and added +830,000 viewers
(from 7.90m, +11%).
On
Saturday night, college football on CBS (Alabama at LSU) was a monster
with 11.54 million viewers and a 3.3/15 in adults 18-49. Compared to the
game on the same night last year (LSU at Alabama), CBS was up +74% in adults 18-49 and added +4.80 million viewers (from 6.74m, +71%). CBS handily won the night.
On Sunday, 60 MINUTES was second in viewers (9.85m) while adding +1.88 million viewers (from 7.97m, +24%). 60 MINUTES was the night’s #1 non-sports program in viewers. At 8:00 PM, GOD FRIENDED ME was also second in viewers (7.40m) while adding +460,000 viewers (from 6.94m, +7%). GOD FRIENDED ME was the night’s #1 scripted series in viewers. NCIS: LOS ANGELES at 9:00 PM was also second in viewers (7.04m), as was MADAM SECRETARY (5.23m).
