Wacky Races - Sneaking Back Into the DVD Race: MOD Re-Release for 'The Complete Series' Coming in mid-February from the Warner Archive, per industry sources

Back in the fall of 2004, Warner Home Video released Wacky Races - The Complete Series on DVD. Over a dozen years later, that title has long gone out of print...but fans never stop wanting to enjoy a classic cartoon show like this one! And fan interest is at an all-time high, since the passing away last summer of voice actress Janet Waldo...who voiced "Penelope Pitstop," driver of the #5 car, the "Compact Pussycat" (she's also remembered for voicing "Judy Jetson" on The Jetsons, too). Now we're going to see them all over again: Penelope, Dick Dastardly and Muttley the snickering dog, Peter Perfect, the Ant Hill Mob, Lazy Luke and Blubber Bear, the Slag Bros., the Gruesome Twosome, Sergeant Blast and Private Meekly, Rufus Ruffcut and Sawtooth, The Red Max, and Professor Pat Pending! According to info posted by VideoETA, which is a site produced by home video distributor Ingram Entertainment, the folks at the Warner Archive Collection will re-release Wacky Races - The Complete Series as an MOD (manufacture on demand) title this coming February 14th. Price is $29.98 SRP (which is five less than the original MSRP!). Details and package art haven't been sent around yet, so we don't know if those have changed since the original (probably not, though).
