JULIE GONZALO STARS AS A SUCCESSFUL AUTHOR WHOSE MEMORY LOSS HELPS HER FIND THE LIFE SHE’S BEEN LOOKING FOR IN ‘FALLING FOR VERMONT’ A NEW, ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING SEPTEMBER 23, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Kicking off the Network’s Popular, Annual “Fall Harvest” Programming Event

STUDIO CITY, CA – August 31, 2017 – Julie Gonzalo (“Waffle Street,” “Dallas”) and Benjamin Ayres (“Saving Hope”) star in “Falling for Vermont,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, September 23, (9 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Channel.  Kicking off the network’s popular, annual “Fall Harvest” programming event, Barbara Kottmeier (“Legends of Tomorrow”), Peter Benson (“Wingman”), Lauren McNamara (“Summer of Dreams”) and Christian Michael Cooper (“Prison Break,” “When the Calls the Heart”) also star.  Bestselling author Angela Young (Gonzalo) needs to get away from the media circus surrounding the premiere of the movie based on her bestselling book, but her boyfriend/business manager Brad (Benson) is too busy making deals to listen.  Determined to take a break, Angela pulls a disappearing act and drives up north to see the fall foliage.  But her little getaway quickly goes awry when a bad storm hits, sending her careening down an embankment into a tree, where she hits her head so hard she blacks out.  The next morning, Angela awakes with temporary memory loss and finds the handsome town doctor, Jeff Callan (Ayres), tending to her.  A single dad, Jeff offers his guest house to Angela, who decides to go by the name of Elizabeth since she can’t remember her own.  While she recovers, she soon bonds not only with his two kids, Emily (McNamara) and Alex (Cooper), but also with Jeff himself and the idyllic Vermont town of Hopedale.  By the time Brad and Angela’s sister Cynthia (Kottmeier) file a missing person’s report and locate Angela, she’s already wondering if getting lost was the best way to find the life she always wanted. “Falling for Vermont” is a Vermont Films Inc. production.  Howard Braunstein and Michael G. Larkin serve as executive producers.  Christian Bruyére is producer.  David Winning directed from a script by Jay Baxter and Shaun Zaken, who share story by credits with Michael G. Larkin.
