One of the most successful sitcoms of the 1970s and 1980s, One Day At A Time ran for nine hilarious and heartfelt seasons, won three Golden Globe Awards, and is finally available as a complete series set! Yesterday we passed along word from show cast member Mackenzie Phillips that One Day at a Time - The Complete Series was in-the-works for DVD, and would be available to buy "in time for the holidays." Today we've gotten confirmation of that! Shout! Factory has announced that on December 5th they will release One Day at a Time - The Complete Series as a 27-DVD set, priced at $129.99 SRP. As far as confirming the bonus material Mackenzie said she recorded with Glenn Scarpelli (a main cast member from the sixth through eighth season), Shout! merely says, "Extras in progress and will be announced at a later date." They say that the nine-season package will include closed captions, however.
