Between 2007 and 2011, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the first four seasons of the sitcom into stores as individual season sets. When the fourth season didn't sell as well as expected, Sony decided that the final two seasons - the fifth and the sixth - would be made available online-only, as MOD (manufacture on demand) titles. Those last two seasons came out in 2012, and are still only available that way. And that won't change on October 3rd, when Sony puts out the Rules of Engagement - Seasons 1-4 Collection on DVD. This 7-disc set for $35.99 SRP will have the same on-disc content as the separate season sets for those first four seasons. If you want to get the final two seasons, though, you'll also have to buy the MOD packages online as separate purchases. In fact, there was a seventh season of the sitcom, consisting of 13 episodes. That season has never been released on DVD, neither through traditional manufacturing/pressing nor via MOD methods.
