"The Return" aired on Showtime this past few months, bringing us 18 weeks of mystery both inside and outside of the town of Twin Peaks. Kyle MacLachlan played multiple roles, and we saw many other familiar faces, too. Some were actors and characters from the two seasons in the '90s, and others were celebs new to the franchise, such as Laura Dern (Jurassic Park) and Naomi Watts (Mulholland Dr.). Now David Lynch - who is the show's co-creator, co-executive producer, co-writer, director, and cast member ("FBI Bureau Chief Gordon Cole") - has today tweeted that on Tuesday, December 5th, Showtime, CBS Home Entertainment, and Paramount Home Media Distribution will release Twin Peaks - The 3rd Season on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc.
