The Gifted - Mutant DVDs Are In-the-Works from Fox of the New Show's 'Season 1' No availability date yet, but Amazon is taking advance orders for the DVDs

Family adventure series THE GIFTED, from 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. Written by Matt Nix (APB, Burn Notice), directed by Bryan Singer (the X-Men franchise) and executive-produced by Nix, Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Wolverine), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past), Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones) and Jim Chory (Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones). Last night saw the broadcast of the second episode of the show starring Stephen Moyer (True Blood, Shots Fired), Amy Acker (Person of Interest, Angel), Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs, Gotham), Percy Hynes White (Murdoch Mysteries, Between), Sean Teale (Reign, Skins), Blair Redford (90210, Passions), Emma Dumont (Aquarious, Bunheads), Jamie Chung (Once Upon a Time, upcoming Big Hero 6: The Series), and Coby Bell (The Game, Burn Notice). Now Amazon.com has ALREADY begun accepting pre-orders for Archer - The Complete Season 8: Dreamland on DVD. This listing is prior to the official Fox Home Entertainment announcement for the item, though, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, at $39.98 SRP. There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, but there is early box art (seen below; this may not be finalized yet, and could be subject to change). There is no Blu-ray Disc pre-order listing...but Fox is moving away from TV-BD releases, so may possibly have decided not to create a Blu version of it.
