(NEW YORK, February 15, 2018) – Today, PeopleTV, the free streaming network helmed by PEOPLE and ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, is premiering its new docuseries, “Hollywood’s Greatest Untold Stories,” and a brand-new episode of “Couch Surfing” with guest Thomas Haden Church. Last week’s series premiere featured EGOT winner Rita Moreno.

“Hollywood’s Greatest Untold Stories” is PeopleTV’s new in-depth docuseries, based on ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY’s immensely popular franchise. Each episode will take a look at some of Hollywood’s unknown, strange and often surprising tales, which have never been told.

The series premiere, “Hollywood’s Greatest Untold Stories: Hollywood’s Biggest Night,” will reveal astonishing facts about the entertainment industry’s biggest awards night, just weeks before this year’s ceremony. Entertainment insiders featured include: Baz Luhrmann, who dissects host Hugh Jackman’s 2009 musical number, which also included Beyonce, Zac Efron and more; Corey Feldman, who delves into the 1989 “Stars of Tomorrow” musical number featuring then up-and-comers: Blair Underwood, Patrick Dempsey, Christian Slater, Holly Robinson, Joely Fisher and more; Hayley Mills, the last-ever recipient of the Academy Juvenile Award® (Juvenile Oscar®); eleven-time Academy Award®-winning director Louis J. Horvitz, who talks about how Jon Stewart created one of the show’s most uplifting moments to date; and former show writers Bruce Vilanch, Chuck Sklar, Brian Posehn and Rory Albanese, who break down some of the most memorable unscripted and scripted televised moments. Couch Surfing,” hosted by Lola Ogunnaike, features famed film and television stars as they stroll down memory lane to watch and react to their own notable performances. Nothing is off limits, as these stars recall behind-the-scenes mishaps, auditions for pinnacle roles, relationships with co-stars and more.

The series premiere features EGOT winner Rita Moreno, who reminisces about the iconic West Side Story musical number, “America” (she says she may have physically injured co-star George Chakiris for life), her Oscar® win (how she will forever regret her acceptance speech), and her time on the children’s TV show, “The Electric Company” (she defied many recommendations to pass on the role).
