A BASEBALL DREAM COMES TRUE FOR BARRY, WHILE IT’S DECISION TIME FOR ERICA, ON ABC’S ‘THE GOLDBERGS’ 

“The Opportunity Of A Lifetime” – Barry gets the chance to throw the first pitch at a Philadelphia Phillies game and believes this is his chance to play professionally, but it’s anything but. Meanwhile, Erica makes an important decision about her future in college, on “The Goldbergs,” WEDNESDAY, MAY 2 (8:00–8:30 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. 

“The Goldbergs” stars Wendi McLendon-Covey (“Bridesmaids”) as Beverly Goldberg, Patton Oswalt (“Ratatouille”) as adult Adam Goldberg, Sean Giambrone as Adam Goldberg, Troy Gentile (“Good Luck Chuck”) as Barry Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia (“The X Factor”) as Erica Goldberg, Sam Lerner as Geoff Schwartz, with George Segal (“Just Shoot Me”) as Pops Solomon and Jeff Garlin (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) as Murray Goldberg.

Guest starring are Bryan Callen as Coach Mellor, AJ Michalka as Lainey, Alison Rich as Valley Erica, Niko Guardado as Ruben Amaro Jr., Nate Hartley as Dan, Louis Gregory as Uncle Louie and Eric B. as Manager.

“The Opportunity Of A Lifetime” was written by Alex Barnow and directed by Anton Cropper.

Adam F. Goldberg, Doug Robinson, Alex Barnow, Marc Firek, Lew Schneider, Chris Bishop, David Guarascio and Andrew Secunda are executive producers. “The Goldbergs” is produced by Happy Madison and Adam F. Goldberg Productions, in association with Sony Pictures Television.

“The Goldbergs” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A parental guideline will be assigned to this program at a later date.
