STUDIO CITY, CA – November 1, 2018 — Candace Cameron Bure (“Fuller House,” “The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries”), Luke Macfarlane (“Killjoys,” “Karen Kingsbury’s Maggie’s Christmas Miracle”) and Jean Smart (“Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” “Fargo”) star in “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas,” a new, original movie premiering Sunday, November 25 (8 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s annual, #1-rated programming event, COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS. Hallmark Channel is historically the #1 television network in all of Q4. With Christmas approaching, Noelle (Bure), a department store worker whose life lacks fulfillment, is asked to arrange a charity gala for a local fire station. One snowy night, when she finds herself accidentally locked in the store after closing, Noelle’s affinity for fashionable footwear leads her to the shoe department. There, Charlie (Smart), an eccentric woman claiming to be her guardian angel, appears out of thin air, having been sent to help her embrace romance, passion and the Christmas spirit. When Charlie has her try on a new pair of shoes, Noelle is magically transported back to Christmas past and given a chance to — possibly — change her current circumstances. When she returns home, she meets Jake (Macfarlane), a handsome and fun-loving fireman, who is moving into her apartment complex. Though she’s put off by his frivolous ways, Noelle soon learns they must work together to plan the upcoming gala. As she prepares for the event — and continues revisiting Christmases past with Charlie — Noelle begins falling for Jake. But just as things begin to look promising, challenges arise that cause her to lose faith in the Christmas spirit and the possibility of having a fulfilling life. On the eve of the gala, Charlie transports Noelle back to another Christmas past, giving her one last chance to make her wishes come true in time for Christmas. “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas” is a Muse Entertainment production in association with Head First Productions. Joel Rice, Candace Cameron Bure, Jim Head and Michael Prupas serve as executive producers. Phyllis Laing is the producer. Michael Robison directed from a script by Rick Garman based on the novel by Beth Harbison.
