(NEW YORK, May 2, 2019) – PeopleTV, the ad-supported streaming network from PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly, is greenlighting the new reality recap series, Reality Check. Hosted by Lyndsey Rodrigues (TRL), the show will premiere on Monday, May 13.

Throughout each half-hour episode, which airs Monday – Thursday, Rodrigues will host a panel of reality stars, celebrity super-fans and entertainment journalists to break down the biggest headlines and most outrageous reality TV moments from the previous night. Franchises that will be closely followed include: The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Challenge, Survivor, American Idol and more.

Premiere week guests include: Buddy Valastro (Cake Boss), James Maslow (Celebrity Big Brother), Jamie Otis (The Bachelor, Married at First Sight) and Elise Testone (American Idol).

Currently, Rodrigues also serves as Senior News Host, Writer and Producer for The Hollywood Reporter News. She is best known as former host of MTV’s TRL, and is the first Australian to hold this position for the New York-based show. She has also hosted The Hills season premiere and season finale specials for the network. Previously, Rodrigues was host of Amazon’s first-ever live streaming show, Style Code Live and worked for MTV Australia where she hosted the Australian version of TRL. As a model, Rodrigues has graced the pages of numerous magazines such as InStyle and Maxim.

Reality Check is the newest series to be broadcast from PeopleTV’s headquarters in New York City. Additional shows broadcast from this location include PEOPLE Now, the daily entertainment news program hosted by Jeremy Parsons and Andrea Boehlke weekdays at noon, and Couch Surfing hosted by Lola Ogunnaike, where stars reminisce about their big roles, their little roles and everything in between.
