Genealogy Roadshow Seasons 2 & 3 

Genealogy Roadshow stars genealogists Kenyatta D. Berry, Joshua Taylor and Mary Tedesco and features participants with unique claims and storylines. The third season of Genealogy Roadshow, features participants from six American cities – Providence, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Miami, Houston, and Boston all who are looking to explore a genealogical mystery and uncover their fascinating family stories. The genealogists uncover stories about a woman’s tie to a Native-American code talker; a man’s link to a comic book heroine; if a black man’s ancestor worked for the Confederacy; and while at Faneuil Hall, solve mysteries related to witch trials and orphan trains. 

Season 2 of Genealogy Roadshow continues to follow a diverse cast of participants, this time in three American cities – St. Louis, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. This season features: a woman seeking to find out if she is descended from the infamous pirate Blackbeard; a pair of sisters exploring connections to a survivor of the legendary Donner party; a man hoping to recover essential family history that washed away in Hurricane Katrina; and a man who learns that the event that drove his family to the City of Brotherly Love changed the course of history.

Viewers join hosts Bridget Lancaster and Julia Collin Davison, and the cast of cooks, taste testers, and equipment experts as they travel the country and scour the history books to find the very best traditional and contemporary American dishes that they can find. They explore the endless, facets of American cooking and the stories behind them, from family-friendly weeknight dishes to comforting home-style favorites to holiday showstoppers. They bring their findings back to the test kitchen where the team of cooks collaborate to develop practical, approachable recipes and make sure they work every time.
