On July 28, Amazon Original Series, The Last Tycoon, will be available for Prime members in the US to stream or download via the Amazon Prime Video app for TVs, connected devices and mobile devices or online here. The trailer can be viewed here.

An Amazon Studios and TriStar Television co-production, The Last Tycoon is written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Billy Ray (Captain Phillips, The Hunger Games), and executive produced by Ray, Christopher Keyser (Tyrant, Party of Five), who serve as showrunners, Joshua D. Maurer (Rubicon), Alixandre Witlin (Georgia O’Keeffe), David A. Stern (Rosemary’s Baby) and Scott Hornbacher (Mad Men). From  F. Scott Fitzgerald’s last work, The Last Tycoon follows Hollywood’s Golden Boy, Monroe Stahr (Matt Bomer, White Collar)  as he battles father figure and boss, Pat Brady  (Kelsey Grammer, Frasier) for the soul of their studio. In a world darkened by the Great Depression and the growing international influence of Hitler’s Germany, The Last Tycoon illuminates the passions, violence, and towering ambition of 1930’s Hollywood. Lily Collins (Rules Don’t Apply) also stars as Celia Brady, with Rosemarie DeWitt (La La Land) as Rose Brady, and Dominique McElligott (House of Cards) as Kathleen Moore. Noted Pulitzer-winning Fitzgerald scholar A. Scott Berg serves as consulting producer, with Perri Kipperman (Billions) serving as co-executive producer. Behind-the-scenes we also have an array of artists including Academy Award® winning Patrizia von Brandenstein, Mad Men’s celebrated costume designer Janie Bryant, renowned Director of Photography Daniel Moder, and Academy Award® winning composer Mychael Danna, among many more.

On July 28, Prime members can stream all nine episodes of season one of The Last Tycoon and can also download the series for offline viewing on iOS, Android and Fire devices at no additional cost to their membership. In addition to SD and HD, the series is also available in 4K Ultra HD on Amazon Fire TV and compatible Samsung, LG and Sony smart TVs and in High Dynamic Range (HDR) on compatible Samsung and LG smart TVs.
