RICHARD RAWLINGS TO STAR IN ALL-NEW DISCOVERY SERIES ‘GARAGE REHAB’ TRANSFORMING STRUGGLING GARAGES ACROSS AMERICA

Series Premieres Wednesday, August 30 at 10pm ET/PT on Discovery

(Los Angeles) – Many Americans dream of owning a successful business, and this summer Richard Rawlings – hot rod hunter from Discovery’s hit series FAST N’ LOUD – and his expert team are determined to help struggling shop owners get their businesses, and their lives, back on track in the all-new series GARAGE REHAB, premiering Wednesday, August 30 at 10pm ET/PT on Discovery.

From Craig Piligian’s Pilgrim Media Group, GARAGE REHAB follows team Rawlings as they travel across America to find shops in need of transformation. Once a garage is identified and the deal is sealed, Richard takes over, making all decisions for the business as he works to revamp and revitalize the enterprise. From a dilapidated garage in Texas filled to the rim with junk to a cash-strapped hot rod shop in Southern California about to close its doors, in each episode Richard takes on a seemingly impossible challenge and uses his entrepreneurial savvy, deep knowledge of the auto industry, and multi-faceted marketing skills to transform these struggling garages into profitable businesses. Dealing with out-of-touch owners, lazy employees, bad workflow and significant construction challenges, Richard and his team must work around the clock to meet tight deadlines and re-open the shops to their customers – if they have any left.

Richard is joined by dynamic duo Russell J. Holmes, project manager, and Chris Stephens, garage designer. While Russell is “the muscle” behind GARAGE REHAB’s renovations, Chris is the “hustle.” A construction expert with over 20 years of experience, Russell has seen and dealt with just about any problem a contractor could encounter. He’s tasked with getting Richard’s rehabs done on time and on budget – no small feat with looming deadlines and cost overruns. Russell watched his own father lose a family business and now is dedicated to helping other shops before it’s too late.

Chris is responsible for taking Richard’s vision for the shop and implementing the design from the ground up. Highly efficient and a stickler for detail, Chris demands that every aspect of the plan and the placement of every piece of equipment meet his approval. As a shop owner himself, specializing in restoring vintage European cars, Chris knows exactly what it takes for an auto garage to be successful and profitable.

GARAGE REHAB is produced for Discovery Channel by Pilgrim Media Group. For Pilgrim Media Group, executive producers are Craig Piligian and Eddie Rohwedder, with Rebecca Graham Forde serving as co-executive producer and Gretchen Morning serving as supervising producer. For Discovery Channel, executive producer is Craig Coffman and producer is Todd Lefkowitz. Richard Rawlings also serves as an executive producer.
