LYNDA CARTER RETURNS AS PRESIDENT MARSDIN; KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS – A large
bounty is put out on Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and aliens from far and near attack National City
intent on taking out the woman of steel. Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) run into
Maggie’s ex-girlfriend, Emily (guest star Hayley Sales), who is in town for a week. Hank (David
Harewood) gets an interesting order from President Marsdin (guest star Lynda Carter). Kevin
Smith directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#217). Original

HOOTEN & THE LADY

ON THE HUNT FOR A RARE GEM, HOOTEN AND ALEX HEAD TO CAMBODIA — Alex
(Ophelia Lovibond) and Hooten (Michael Landes) attempt to track down a priceless jewel in
Cambodia but they soon attract the attentions of a ruthless drug gang. Jane Seymour, Jonathan
Bailey and Shaun Parkes also star. Daniel O’Hara directed the episode written by Richard Zajdlic

TUESDAY, AUGUST 29
THE FLASH
“Abra Kadabra” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)
DC COMICS’ CHARACTER ABRA KADABRA VISITS CENTRAL CITY – The Flash (Grant
Gustin) battles Abra Kadabra (guest star David Dastmalchian), a villain from Earth-19, who makes
him a tempting offer – release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar’s true identity. Desperate to
save Iris (Candice Patton), Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho)
breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages
to escape. Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but Gypsy refuses to back down, forcing Cisco
(Carlos Valdes) to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian (Tom Felton) is still a bit cold towards Caitlin
(Danielle Panabaker) but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side.
Nina Lopez-Corrado directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Brooke

DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
“Land of the Lost” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)
A DIVIDED MIND — After capturing Rip (Arthur Darvill), he forces the Waverider to crash,
leaving the Legends stuck seventy million years in the past. Ray (Brandon Routh) leads Amaya
(Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) to recover a vital piece of the ship.  In an effort
to get the “good” Rip back, Rory (Dominic Purcell) suggests they enter Rip’s mind, but what Sara
(Caity Lotz) and Jax (Franz Drameh) discover in his subconscious is not pleasant and they must
fight evil versions of themselves.  Meanwhile, Nate and Amaya continue to get closer, but it could
cause serious ramifications.  Victor Garber also stars. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written
by Keto Shimizu & Ray Utarnaachitt (#213).  Original airdate 3/17/2017.

Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe’s (voiced by Megalyn Echikunwoke) parents were killed by
local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But the orphaned Mari refuses to succumb to the
terrors surrounding her. Inheriting her family’s Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals
-- anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights
valiantly to protect the world from the threats like those that claimed her family. Based on
characters from DC Comics, VIXEN is produced by Blue Ribbon Content and Warner Bros.
Animation, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kriesberg.

PENN & TELLER: FOOL US

it out. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show
at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The live studio audience and the TV audience watch along
with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the secrets. The magicians featured in the episode
include Richard Turner, Young & Strange, Kayla Drescher and Mike Super. Alyson Hannigan

WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?

supplied by the studio audience.  The four performers must use the little information they have and
their wild imaginations to depict different characters and an array of scenes, as well as perform
songs.  After each round of improvisation, Aisha will dole out points to our four performers and
declare a winner at the end of every episode.  Directed by Geraldine Dowd (#411).  Original airdate
