From 1968 to 2003 - an incredible 35 years! - Peter Falk (The Great Race, The In-Laws, The Princess Bride) starred as the great rumpled detective, Columbo. From two pilot telefilms to 7 official seasons to a stunning count of 24 post-series telefilm specials, he always had "just one more thing..." In 2012, Universal Studios collected every previous DVD release together into a 34-disc box set called Columbo - The Complete Series. At the time it was priced at $149.98 SRP, and even though discontinued you can still find it around here and there at closeout prices. But the studio has decided that you shouldn't have to be a detective to track this item down! In that spirit, Universal has decided to re-release Columbo - The Complete Series on DVD this June 12th! Priced this time at just $99.98 SRP, you'll get the EXACT SAME 34 discs as before, with the same on-disc content, in a new configuration. There's a package with Columbo - Seasons 1-4 and a separate package for Columbo - Seasons 5-7 Including 24 TV Movies. Both of those are slid together into an outer slipcase for The Complete Series.
