The Good Doctor - St. Bonaventure Hospital is Getting DVD Plans for 'Season 1' of the Show! No availability date yet, but Amazon is taking advance orders for the DVDs

Freddie Highmore plays Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, relocates from a quiet country life to join a prestigious hospital's surgical unit. Alone in the world and unable to personally connect with those around him, Shaun uses his extraordinary medical gifts to save lives and challenge the skepticism of his colleagues. This past September, the ABC network began 18 episodes of this popular new series! With the season finale being broadcast early last week, and the show already renewed for a second season, Amazon.com has now begun accepting pre-orders for The Good Doctor - Season 1 on DVD. This listing is prior to the official Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announcement for the item, though, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, at $45.99 SRP. There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, nor package art (just temp art taken from the program's broadcast advertising campaign).
