ERIC MABIUS AND TRICIA HELFER STAR IN ‘IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS,’ A NEW, ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING DECEMBER 21, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Part of the Network’s Annual “Miracles of Christmas” Programming Event

STUDIO CITY, CA – November 14, 2019 — Eric Mabius (“Ugly Betty,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”), and Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica,” “Lucifer”) star in “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” a new original movie premiering Saturday, December 21 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s beloved, number onerated programming event, “Countdown to Christmas,” which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.  Hallmark Channel is historically the #1 television network in all of Q4. Sarah (Helfer) and Liam (Mabius) have been competing against each other since they were schoolchildren, striving to best the other in everything from student body elections to college applications.  That rivalry continues to drive their interactions as mayors of East and West Riverton, New Hampshire, quaint towns that are perennial contestants in the annual “New Hampshire Christmas Spirit” contest.  Determined to lead their beloved hamlets to victory, Sarah and Liam nearly let their competitive instincts get the better of them before calling a truce.  When both towns are chosen as finalists, the mayors have just five days to plan a celebration that shows what Christmas means to their community.  Their surprising collaboration yields not only a magical event but also a Christmas miracle: love.  “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” is from Muse Entertainment in association with Head First Productions.  Executive producers are Jim Head, Joel S. Rice, Michael Prupas, Eric Mabius and Shawn Williamson.  Producers are Jamie Goehring and John MacCarthy.  David Weaver directed from a script by Rick Garman.
