Freeform Releases Its New Lineup of TV Offerings For January 2020

FREEFORM RELEASES ITS NEW LINEUP OF TV OFFERINGS FOR JANUARY 2020,
INCLUDING THE PREMIERE OF NEW SERIES ‘PARTY OF FIVE’ AND
‘EVERYTHING’S GONNA BE OKAY’ AND THE SEASON PREMIERES OF
‘GOOD TROUBLE,’ ‘GROWN-ISH’ AND ‘THE BOLD TYPE’
“Party of Five” Season 1 
Jan. 8 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #1001 – “Pilot”
“Party of Five” follows the five Acosta children—Emilio, Lucia, Beto, Valentina and baby Rafa—as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico.
Jan. 8 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #1002 – “Margin of Error”
A fearful Valentina struggles to sleep at night after the recent loss of her parents. This takes a toll on Beto, who is left to comfort her. Val turns to religion in the hopes of getting her parents back while Lucia denounces that same religion, believing it is only harming her younger sister. Meanwhile, Emilio tries to do right by his father by dismissing Oscar of certain duties, which only offends Oscar and leaves Emilio to run the restaurant on his own.
Jan. 15 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #1003 – “Long Distance”
Emilio discovers that his father was being taken advantage of by the owner of a restaurant across the street and tries to make a decision himself. Beto lives with the frustration over Emilio’s new relationship, while Lucia attempts to help her new friend Matthew get a job, learning in the process that he hasn’t renewed his DACA status.
Jan. 22 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #1004 – “Authentic Mexican”
Emilio tries to take the business to the next level by catering a private event. However, things go south when the client expects the caterers to dress up and behave a certain way. Emilio does everything he can to appease her but draws a line when Beto gets yelled at by the guest of honor.
Jan. 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #1005 – “Rafa”
When Rafa ends up in the hospital, the family comes together to care for him. But their situation worsens when a social worker shows up to check in on them in light of recent events.

Jan. 15 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #2011 – “Clapback”
When Malika gets in trouble following the BLM disruption, Callie seeks help from an old friend. Meanwhile, Mariana deals with the “fixer” at work, Gael helps Davia with a music video, and Alice finds herself in a love triangle.
Jan. 22 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #2012 – “Gumboot Becky”
Davia gains unwanted notoriety at school when an attempt to reach her students goes awry. Callie helps Judge Wilson after he faces a devastating loss, and Malika tries to make things right with Isaac.
Jan. 29 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #2012 – “Daylight”
Callie and Jamie’s relationship is tested by a case. Mariana’s position at Speckulate is threatened. Malika has a new opportunity that could be jeopardized by her legal issues. Davia faces the unintended consequences of her behavior.

“grown-ish” Season 3
Jan. 16 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST) – Episode #3001 – “Crunch Time”
It’s Junior year and the gang throws an HBCU-themed Homecoming party to kick off the semester at their new off-campus house. Zoey returns from her summer internship abroad and realizes that she has to confront her feelings for Aaron and Luca quickly. When she learns about Luca’s grand gesture last semester, she needs to decide how she feels about it while balancing the high demand of her dream job, working for Joey Bada$$. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew is left to deal with some of the repercussions of their big mistakes before summer break, including an unexpected reveal of someone expecting.
Jan. 23 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST) – Episode #3002 – “Damn”
The crew tries their best to cope with a shocking surprise, but another unexpected bomb sends Zoey into a spiral.
Jan. 30 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST) – Episode #3003 – “Close Friends”
When Nomi challenges Zoey to try to be friends with Luca after their breakup, Zoey is forced to consider the age-old question, “Is it possible to be friends with your ex?” Meanwhile, Jazz and Doug try to help Vivek navigate the world of dating apps.
“Everything’s Gonna Be Okay” Season 1
Jan. 16 (8:30-9:31 p.m. EST) – Episode #1001 – “Seven-Spotted Ladybug”
Nicholas’ single dad has very bad cancer, and he’s going to die, soon. So, Nicholas offers himself up to be the guardian for his two teenage half-sisters. They already know not to put their heads in the oven. What’s the worst that can happen?
Jan. 16 (9:31-10:01 p.m. EST) – Episode #1002 – “Greenbottle Blue Tarantula”
Nicholas wishes he could call an adult! After the death of their father, Nicholas, Matilda and Genevieve struggle to return to their daily—and nightly—routines. Navigating the stay-at-home parent life is harder than Nicholas thought.
Jan. 23 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #1003 – “Giant Asian Mantises”
Matilda wants to get white-girl-wasted! Genevieve’s low-key birthday party leaves Nicholas, Alex and Matilda banished to the guest house. In the main house, Tellulah turns things up a notch. Nicholas is stuck being the responsible adult.
Jan. 30 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #1004 – “Silkmoths”
Nicholas is terrible at love! Genevieve’s ambivalence about Nicholas’ boyfriend, Alex, takes an unfortunate turn when the three go out together. Matilda wants to bake Luke a cake but takes her brother’s advice.
“The Bold Type” Season 4 
 
Jan. 23 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #4001 – “Legends of the Fall Issue”
Scarlet reels over their new dynamic, forcing everyone to adjust. Jane tries to cope with the changes to Jacqueline’s role at the magazine and joins forces with Kat and Sutton to make it clear how much she means to them. Sutton takes stock of her position at Scarlet, as Richard considers a world outside it. Kat butts heads with RJ Safford over his response to the new direction of the magazine.
Jan. 30 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) – Episode #3002 – “#scarlet”
Kat is faced with a past regret when she crosses paths with a closeted singer who asked for help coming out. Jane has her first mammogram and spirals into anxiety waiting for the results—and how Ryan fits into it. Sutton and Richard’s long-distance relationship hits a snag, and the trio discovers a secret about one of their coworkers.
