IT’S GOING TO BE A ‘BEAR-Y CHRISTMAS’ WITH A SPECIAL ‘MAN VS BEAR’ MARATHON KICKING OFF TOMORROW, DECEMBER 21, ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL

Animal Planet Continues the ‘Man Vs. Bear’ Marathon on Monday, December 23 from 2-4 PM ET/PT and Then on Monday, December 30 from 9 AM – 12 PM ET/PT
Science Channel Airs on Saturday, December 28 from 9 AM – 12 PM ET and on Friday, January 3 from 11 AM to 2 PM ET

It’s going to be a ‘Bear-y Christmas” on Discovery. For all of you roaring with excitement for the holidays, Discovery is rolling out a MAN VS. BEAR marathon beginning tomorrow, December 21 at 9 AM – 12 PM ET. Discovery is also running an all-day marathon on Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25). Animal Planet will air the MAN VS BEAR marathon beginning on Monday, December 23, from 2-4 PM ET/PT and continue on Monday, December 30 from 9 AM – 12 PM ET/PT. Science Channel will run it on Saturday, December 28 from 9 AM – 12 PM ET and on Friday, January 3 from 11 AM to 2 PM ET.

Watch as Bart, Honey Bump and Tank take on three human competitors at their Utah sanctuary to test the limits of strength, speed and stamina. All challenges will be based on the bears’ natural instincts as well as predatory skills and actions – whether it’s engaging in a monumental game of “tug of war” or using brute force to roll giant logs. Feeling guilty about eating all those cutout cookies? Watch as Tank takes on the humans in an eating challenge, showing they are no match against his voracious appetite.

MAN VS BEAR returns with an all-new episode on Wednesday, January 1 at 9 PM ET/PT on Discovery. In addition to watching the series on Discovery, viewers can stream new episodes each week on the Discovery GO app. Viewers can also get to know the bears and discover more about their lives on Bear Mountain.
