SHOWTIME HONORED WITH GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINATIONS FOR LIMITED SERIES 'THE LOUDEST VOICE' AND LEAD ACTOR RUSSELL CROWE AND KIRSTEN DUNST FOR 'ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA'

LOS ANGELES – December 9, 2019 – SHOWTIME was honored with multiple Golden Globe nominations this morning, including nods for limited series THE LOUDEST VOICE and its lead actor Russell Crowe, and a comedy acting nomination for Kirsten Dunst from freshman comedy ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday, January 5, 2019.
For the second consecutive year, the HFPA recognized a SHOWTIME series and lead actor in the limited series category with nominations. THE LOUDEST VOICE earned top honors with a nomination for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Russell Crowe was nominated in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his role as Roger Ailes. Crowe's nomination is his sixth from the HFPA (having won previously for A Beautiful Mind), but first for television
Kirsten Dunst was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical, for her role as Krystal Stubbs on the freshman comedy ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. She also serves as an executive producer on the series. Dunst earned her third career Golden Globe nomination and first in the category.
