(NEW YORK, Oct. 3, 2019) -- , the streaming network from PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly, is greenlighting a new series, The Royal Report, hosted by award-winning broadcast journalist, Sharon Carpenter. The Royal Report will premiere on Thursday, October 3 at 5PM ET on PeopleTV, with an encore airing at 9:30PM.
The Royal Report will air eight episodes during Fall 2019 and is the newest series to be broadcast from PeopleTV’s headquarters in New York. Throughout each episode, Carpenter will break down the biggest stories in British royal family news -- including trend-setting fashion, family life and fandom -- before delving into in-depth discussions on all things royal with experts, including PEOPLE’s senior editor (royals), Michelle Tauber; senior news editor, Erin Hill; chief foreign correspondent, Simon Perry; and London correspondent, Monique Jessen. Joining Carpenter on each episode will be the show’s resident mascot, Bread Loaf the Corgi aka “Loafie” ).

Carpenter () is an award-winning broadcast journalist, TV host, and producer. A native from the UK, she is currently one of the main UK and US presenters of HQ Trivia. Carpenter has also appeared as an on-air personality in the U.S. on CBS, BET, VH1, BBC America and Revolt TV. Some of her biggest interviews include Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Tom Hanks, Ryan Gosling and more.
