Catch the Opening Moments of ‘The Oscars’ Live Broadcast
Immediately Following the Red Carpet Arrivals
Emmy® Award-winning “Oscars® All Access: Red Carpet Live” is set to dazzle viewers with red carpet highlights and insider access to the biggest night in Hollywood. For the second year in a row, the show will be streamed live exclusively on Twitter at 3:30 p.m. PST/6:30 p.m. EST. Television writer and entertainment journalist Louis Virtel returns as host and will be joined by his new co-host, actress      Sydney Park, and social media correspondent Natalia Perez, who will bring the red carpet’s brightest stars directly to the movie-going audience at home and in real time. Immediately following the red carpet arrivals live stream, viewers will be able to watch the opening moments of “The Oscars” live broadcast before heading to ABC for the remainder of the show.
Twitter’s live stream will be available at www.twitter.com/theacademy or via @TheAcademy. Fans watching the “Oscars All Access: Red Carpet Live” live stream may also submit questions for nominees, presenters and performers via Twitter using #OscarsAllAccess for a chance to have them asked in real time. Sponsored by Verizon, “Oscars All Access: Red Carpet Live” features footage from up to 10 cameras strategically placed along the red carpet, providing fans with an immersive look at the year’s most high-profile and glamorous event.
For the first time, Twitter has launched a new DM experience for Twitter users to predict winners and share their picks with their followers. Superfans are able to predict all 23 categories and lighter fans can choose to make predictions for just the six most popular categories. Throughout the user experience, there will be sharing prompts, reminders and scoring touchpoints.

Louis Virtel is a writer, comedian and entertainment journalist who currently writes for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” He also co-hosts Crooked Media’s weekly pop-culture podcast “Keep It,” alongside Ira Madison III and Aida Osman. As a print journalist, Virtel’s writing has appeared in Time, Vulture, The Advocate, Paper and HitFix. 

Sydney Park
Sydney Park recently wrapped a starring role in Patrick Brice’s Netflix feature “There’s Someone Inside Your House,” executive produced by Shawn Levy and James Wan. Additionally, she was recently one of the leads on the Freeform series “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” and recurs on AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Sydney previously starred in “Lifeline” for YouTube Red and “Wish Upon” for Broad Green. Sydney will next appear in Amy Poehler’s Netflix feature film, “Moxie.” 
Natalia Perez started her radio career when she was 19 years old, working for Clear Channel’s Top-40 station KIIS. In April 2014, Natalia began working with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a pre-game, in-stadium host and continues to work with the Dodgers organization today. In 2015, Perez joined Louie G and DJ VickOne as a key member of Big Boy’s Morning Show. Today, she can also be heard on Big Boy’s syndicated show, which airs in over 24 markets and on FUSE TV, a daily two-hour show that features news, celebrity interviews and more.

The 92nd Oscars will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at the Dolby® Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.  “The Oscars Red Carpet Show” will air at 6:30 p.m. EST/3:30 p.m. PST. “The Oscars” also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
